Ryan Ludwick hits a three-run homer to increase his RBI total to 12, temporarily tied for second in the NL. With Albert Pujols picking up his 14th RBI of the year, the Cardinals heart is 1-2 in RBI this year. St. Louis leads Chicago 4-3 in the top of the fifth. Update: Ludwick hit his second home run of the game, picking up his 13th RBI. The Cardinals lead 7-5 in the seventh.
