LHP Randy Flores (left ankle tendinitis) went on the 15-day disabled list June 26.

1B Albert Pujols (strained left calf) left the June 3 game, and he was limited to pinch-hitting in the June 5 doubleheader. He returned to action June 6 but then aggravated the injury June 10. He went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to June 11, and he was activated June 26.

RHP Todd Wellemeyer (right elbow inflammation) missed one start but returned to the rotation June 13. He had some discomfort after that outing, and he was scratched from his June 19 start. He returned to the rotation June 26.

LHP Mark Mulder (shoulder surgery in September 2007) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 21. He complained of fatigue after his May 5 start, and he was diagnosed with a mild rotator cuff strain. He resumed throwing May 13, but then suffered another setback. He began a minor league rehab assignment June 14, but was scratched from a June 23 start due to a stiff back. He was activated June 27.

SS Cesar Izturis (strained right hamstring) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to June 21.

RHP Anthony Reyes (right elbow inflammation) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to June 16.

RHP Chris Carpenter (Tommy John surgery in July 2007) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 21, and he was transferred to the 60-day DL on June 22. He began throwing bullpen sessions in late March, and he suffered a setback in mid-June. After a visit to Dr. James Andrews, he planned to resume rehabilitating the arm in Jupiter, Fla.

RHP Adam Wainwright (sprained right middle finger) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to June 8. He is expected to miss three weeks.

RHP Kelvin Jimenez (bruised right hand) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 31.

RHP Matt Clement (shoulder surgery in September 2006) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 21. He began a minor league rehab assignment June 3.

RHP Josh Kinney (broken right elbow in August 2007) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 21, and he was transferred to the 60-day DL on May 16. He experienced tightness in his elbow in late April and was shut down from throwing until mid-May.

LHP Tyler Johnson (left shoulder tendinitis) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 21, and he was transferred to the 60-day DL on June 6. He had season-ending surgery May 14.

RF Juan Encarnacion (fractured eye socket in August 2007) went on the 60-day disabled list retroactive to March 21. He won't play this year.

OF Juan Gonzalez (left abdominal strain) played only one game this spring. He was placed on the temporary inactive list March 26.
