St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Kyle Lohse, who improved to 3-0 with a win Thursday over the New York Mets, will have an MRI on his right knee on Thursday night, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Lohse felt a pop while running to cover first base in the fifth inning. He stayed in the game and completed the fifth inning to qualify for the win. Lohse still felt soreness in the knee after the game, but doesn't believe it's anything serious.
Lohse has a 2.42 ERA after four starts this season and is vital to the Cards' rotation after losing Chris Carpenter for four to eight weeks with a torn left oblique.
Results of the MRI will not be known until Friday.
