The 2009 salaries for the top 100 highest-paid major league baseball players on opening day rosters and disabled lists. Figures were obtained by The Associated Press from management and player sources and include salaries and pro-rated shares of signing bonuses and other guaranteed income.

For some players, parts of salaries that are deferred are discounted to reflect present-day values.
